P.E. now, more than ever
P.E. plays a big role in students lives even if they do not like it. P.E. in schools allow students to exercise everyday for a certain amount of time. This allows the students to get in 45 to 60 minuutes of exercise in class. It is important to have P.E. because in gym class that time to stay active might be the only time a student is active for the day because students might go home and just watch tv or sit around and do nothing. P.E. can lead the way for a healthy life!

I definitely believe in P.E. It's tough sitting in class all day long, so having a free time to run around is a good way to break up the day. It gives you something to look forward to, as I know it did for me. And they teach you about staying healthy, which is a big concern in today's society, especially with the obesity in the youth. I'm all for it, and I would never want it cut out of my school day, even though I'm out of school now, but for all the students still in school.
ReplyDeleteYes P.E definitely has a big role in society. If anything school should be longer on the account of having P.E. Kids today seem to only to get it once a week as one of their "special activities". It should be as natural as having English, science, math, etc. With a healthy body kids don't have to worry about obesity and diabetes in the future.
ReplyDeletePE has a big role on the society, especially kids. That's when they need to get the habit of exercising every day. It's also important to give choices, so they know it's fun, not something forced upon them. It's also a way to get their energy out before some classes. Some teachers desperately need this as much as the students, for different reasons of course.
