What does P.E.?

Here is a picture of a P.E. teacher that is teaching elementary students how to play soccer in a present P.E. class of todays society.

  1. All I can say is that the kids look sooo happy to be in this class. The look on their faces is priceless. I think that today's PE teachers need to challenge students in innovative ways, using new equipment (which isn't available due to cut budgets), and new students plans (not the same recycled student plans from year to year).

  2. In many schools now a child also has a choice as to which gym class or activity they would like to participate in. one P.E. teacher may lead a soccer class while another teacher may host a jump rope class, this way kids can choosee from more than one event and not feel left out and/or not feel like a loser by not joining a competetive activity for that day or week or period. In my school , the options for classed changed every 45 days,so you could have 4 different gym classes in a year

  3. Its great that some gym classes still have the old time sports in them. thats what the gym class was built on and should be that same way. i can remewbr back in the day when dodge ball was the main thing to do in gym class, but in todays world you cant play that due to lawsuits and so on. todays world has changed what the true gym class was

  4. It is great that PE is in schools, but if you look at the picture, the kids would rather be doing something else. The teacher don't even look like he want to be doing anything. They don't look like their properly dress to even play anything.
Like I said from the beginnig, PE is a great idea inside the school, but what about when they go home. Kids should be exercise outside of school as well during school.

  5. The kids look like they're enjoying something new. That's what school is all about including PE. Although it doesn't seem very fun ( teacher looks boring and annoyed) at least they're being introduced to something. Maybe that'll get their brains going and they'll want to learn more about it outside of school.
