Tools of the Trade

Here are a couple of pictures of tools that are used in wood shops across the nations. The top picture is a shot of battery powered tools. Theses tools are used to put or screw wood together, cut it as well as many other things. The bottom image is a picture of a table saw. the cool thing about this saw is that the blade drops if it feels any type of skin close to it. Tools used now of days have many safety features that make is close to imposable to get hurt on it or using it.

  1. This is great how updated these tools are. It is amazing because it really is teaching kids hands on. I'm sure in using these safe tools kids are more confident and cautious at the same time. These wood shops are probably opening the eyes of a future hard worker.

  2. I think it is awesome how tools are always getting up graded Eric. Tools of today are making jobs easier for everybody because of the technology that evolves them into more. In the past it must of been a little harder to do things with tools becuase the technology for them was all not there yet.

  3. It's so much more convenient to use these tools than to use the old ones that were so frustrating. I love how small they're getting too! I remember in my woodshop class we had the hardest time trying to do little work because of how hard the tools were to move around in tight spaces.
