Physical Education

If they take P.E. out of schools in the future to save money on the budget then things will get worse for overweigt students and younger adults because even with P.E. in schools students are still getting their exercise in class from actitivites. America has to take control of their own weight and diet and do whats right and best for their bodies to lead long and healthy active lives.

  1. I think that taking P.E. out of schools would be one of the dumbest things that the government could possibly do. There are many other things that can be knocked off the budget in order to save money. I also agree that we do have to control our own weight, but dieting is NOT the answer. Dieting will just cause people to get less of the daily recommended vitamins and minerals needed to live properly. Also the weight lost will be regained once the person gets off the diet. Eating right and exercise are the answer.

  2. Black N Yellow and Robert, I definitely agree with your post. Maybe our government should start taxing the rich people instead of making huge cuts in education. Our children are our future. They will not be able to compete with children in other countries whose governments care about them more than the United States government cares about our children. This is also important as it pertains to the health of our children and future generations. This was a great post. Mary Ann Reday.
